Ms. Moore oversaw organization and management of guard force. Private Security Company provided armed and unarmed security guards to hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, grocery stores, maritime vessels, and many other privately held companies. In this role Ms. Moore hired all security personnel, processed and filed all paperwork and qualifying training required by the State Board of Private Security Examiners concerning each guard. She obtained new clients, was the liaison between current clients and guard supervisors. She also oversaw office staff while they performed daily functions of running a small private security firm. i.e.: payroll processing, dispatching, guard licensing requirements, and continuing education requirements, accounts payable/receivables. Along with a wide range of responsibilities Ms. Moore oversaw all aspects of her employees and subcontractors.
Managing Partner – American Maritime Protection and Security, L.L.C (AMPS) 2003 – 2006

What began as a maritime security company, AMPS provided private security guards to maritime vessels entering the United States via the Mississippi River in Southeast Louisiana. Directed by the U.S. Coast Guard, AMPS provided armed guards onboard vessels containing high interest personnel from “high threat” countries (detainees). Ms. Moore oversaw organization and management of guard force. As time progressed Ms. Moore obtained contracts with small and large privately held companies (such as AllState) as well as government subcontracts (FEMA). Following Hurricane Katrina in the New Orleans area Ms. Moore employed over 75 armed and/or un-armed private security guards. Ms. Moore oversaw office staff while they performed daily functions of running security firm. i.e.: human resource functions, training/certification processing of guards, dispatching, and accounts payable/receivables. Along with a wide range of responsibilities Ms. Moore oversaw all aspects of her employees and subcontractors.
